Samuel Stuart Hollenshead began his career in 2001 as a photojournalist. After 9/11 he documented workers at the World Trade Center site during the recovery and earliest stages of the rebuilding process. Later, he moved to Mumbai, India where he worked for publications that include The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine.
In 2007 he moved back to New York City and began taking photographs for academic and corporate clients. During this time he has photographed countless assignments that include portraits of high-profile business and political leaders, university trustees and donors, as well as galas, graduations, award trips, reunions and marketing campaigns for top-tier academic institutions.
He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two sons. Below are many of the clients he has had the pleasure of working with.
